The DRAFT Transitions 2045 MTP is now available for public review:

DRAFT Transitions 2045 MTP document

The initial draft MTP document is open for comment until Friday, January 10th, 2025. Please send any comments, questions, or other feedback on the draft MTP document to mtpcomments@mrcog-nm.gov.

A second and final draft MTP document will be released in mid-February. That draft will reflect changes made in response to comments on the draft and further review and development by MRMPO staff.

The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) is the region's long-range transportation plan. The MTP is currently being updated, and the draft plan is the Transitions 2045 MTP.

The Mid-Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MRMPO) leads the development of the plan and works with the public, stakeholders, and local agencies in the Albuquerque Metropolitan Planning Area to identify multimodal transportation needs in the next 20+ years. Strategies and projects to meet those needs will be identified in the plan.

The second Transitions 2045 MTP survey is now closed! Thank you for letting us know your thoughts on transportation spending priorities, projects, and strategies. Stay tuned for the results.
