The initial Draft Transitions 2045 MTP document was open for public comment from December 6, 2024 through Friday, January 10, 2025. Although the public comment period for the initial draft is now closed, MRMPO is currently working on revisions to that document and a Final Draft MTP will be available for public review on February 28, 2025 until March 30, 2025. The Final Draft MTP will reflect changes made in response to public and agency feedback received on the initial draft as well as further review and development by MRMPO staff. Once the Final Draft is posted, we invite you to review the revised plan and send any comments, questions, or other feedback on the draft MTP document to mtpcomments@mrcog-nm.gov. The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) is the region's long-range transportation plan. The MTP is currently being updated, and the draft plan is the Transitions 2045 MTP.

The Mid-Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MRMPO) leads the development of the plan and works with the public, stakeholders, and local agencies in the Albuquerque Metropolitan Planning Area to identify multimodal transportation needs in the next 20+ years. Strategies and projects to meet those needs will be identified in the plan.
